A reference architecture for AI-powered healthcare analytics — Tuva, Snowflake Cortex, and Omni, integrated by Astrodata into a single guided workflow.
Clinical Data Foundation
The Tuva Project provides open-source dbt packages that transform raw healthcare data (claims, eligibility, clinical) into analytics-ready data marts. AXIOM uses Tuva's core clinical concept library, chronic condition groupers, and HEDIS measure logic as the foundation for all downstream analytics.
AI & ML Layer
Snowflake Cortex powers AXIOM's intelligence layer. ML Classification ranks patients by readmission risk. Anomaly Detection surfaces cost and utilization spikes across the population. Cortex AI generates the narrative summaries and care recommendations visible on every screen.
Experience Layer
Omni provides the embedded analytics experience: interactive dashboards, drillable visualizations, conversational AI (Blobby), and writeback capabilities that let care managers take action directly from the analytics interface.
Integration & Orchestration
Astrodata designed and built the end-to-end workflow, integrating all three technologies into a cohesive application. The wizard-based UX, data pipeline architecture, care pathway logic, and deployment infrastructure are all Astrodata's work.
